Utah Pioneer Heritage Arts is a nonprofit, public benefit company founded in 2008. We bring Utah families and communities together through the artful presentation of stories, visual art, and songs.
Founder, Clive Romney, a songwriter-storyteller whose life was totally changed by creating a story and a song about one of his own ancestors (whom he had misjudged) asked some friends to help tell other stories through music, videography, and art.
After many successful projects, they formed a non-profit, Utah Pioneer Heritage Arts, and started presenting elementary school assemblies, city Founders Days and Heritage Days celebrations, and Sons of Utah Pioneers and Daughters of Utah Pioneers programs.
Now thirteen years and hundreds of performances later, performing for over half a million people, UPHA has made it their mission to help others discover their “Stories that stick” in their own ancestry, and through retelling them, find the benefit of “Heritage that Heals”.
Join us in our goal of showing how our history can reinforce our present and inspire our future! We would love to have you as part of OUR family.
